Jeremy Gregory is a Tacoma-based artist whose work is shaped by the energy of skateboarding, graffiti, and the visual language of the urban landscape. A graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, Gregory has built a career that seamlessly blends fine art, graphic design, and large-scale public murals, creating work that is both deeply personal and community-driven.

His murals can be found throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as in New York, Mexico, and Portugal, reflecting a career that extends far beyond his hometown. Among his most recognized public works is his mural at the Northwest African American Museum, a testament to his ability to create meaningful, place-based artwork that resonates with diverse communities.

For decades, Gregory has been a driving force in Tacoma’s creative culture. He helped establish the city’s mural program, expanding opportunities for public art and transforming neighborhoods through collaborative projects. As a graphic design instructor at Tacoma School of the Arts, he has mentored generations of young artists while continuing to contribute to nearly every facet of Tacoma’s arts community.

Whether painting walls, creating studio work, designing graphics, or building creative opportunities for others, Jeremy Gregory’s practice is rooted in movement, collaboration, and a lifelong commitment to the power of art to shape both people and place.
